UNESCO | World Heritage
Stevns Klint was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014 for its unique record of the asteroid that struck Earth 66 million years ago – the event that wiped out the dinosaurs. The story is told in a thin layer of boundary clay found in the cliff’s chalk and limestone.
Step straight into history with a hike along the cliff path, just outside Stevns Klint Experience. The trail offers breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea and leads you past nine special sites – from the peaceful Højeruplund to the Cold War relic Stevnsfortet. It’s nature, history, and world heritage in one unforgettable walk.
