Impact LAB: your footprint
IMPACT LAB: your footprint

Make your own key ring from recycled fabric
Behind every single piece of fabric lies a story. As our very first activity in the new Impact Lab, we invite you to give old textiles a fresh new look and carry the story of these materials forward into the future.
We’re not here to point fingers. Instead, we’re exploring how we, as human beings, help shape our world through the choices we make. Using a simple and fun weaving technique, you’ll transform discarded fabric scraps into a personal keepsake – a completely unique key ring for your own set of keys. A fun and creative activity that shows that even small choices can make a big, positive difference.

Take your own print home with you
Our rule is very simple: we mainly work with recycled and natural materials, and everyone can join in. You can look forward to everything from making magical amulets from nature’s own raw materials to designing your own ‘fossils of the future’ – because what will the plastic and rubbish we leave behind today actually tell future generations about us? When something strikes a chord with us, it sets our minds alight. At Impact Lab, you’ll find that you understand things in a whole new way when you’re given the chance to create something yourself. You can either leave your finished piece in the lab or take it home with you as your very own time capsule for the future. The future is shaped by the marks we make today. What traces do you want to leave behind?
