Do you want to go where others don't go?
The very best spots in the countryside can be hard to find on your own. On our new activity, the Fiskeler Expedition, we’ll take you to one of them. The Fiskeler formation is the reason why Stevns Klint is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but this 66-million-year-old layer is hidden from the untrained eye.
On this exclusive tour, we’ll leave the well-trodden paths behind and head straight out into the wild terrain along the rugged stony beach. There’s no set itinerary – your curiosity will lead the way, whilst our guide safely leads you to the precise moment when the world changed forever.
Practical information:
Who: For curious children and adults (recommended from 7 years old).
Terrain: Rugged and difficult to navigate along the stony beach. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
Duration: Approx. 1 hour.
Price: Included in your admission ticket, but booking is required (first come, first served).
Times: Monday–Friday at 12.30 (Danish) and 14.00 (English).
Departure: In front of Stevns Klint Experience.
> Tip: We recommend that you visit our exhibition before the tour so that you are familiar with the dramatic history of Fiskeleret before we see it in real life.

COULD YOU EAT HALF A DINOSAUR TOO?
You can’t take in the world’s greatest wonders on an empty stomach. Take a relaxing break in the café with cold drinks, coffee and tasty treats. Or enjoy an ice cream outside in the sunshine.

What’s a rhinoceros doing at Stevns Klint?
It takes a real piece of work to look after one of the world’s most important natural history treasures. And that’s exactly what it’s doing now!
Right here at the gateway to the World Heritage Site itself – at Boesdalsvej 14 by Stevns Klint Experience – the spectacular installation ‘Naturen Vakler’ stands ready to sound the alarm and invite reflection. The enormous, 8.5-metre-tall rhinoceros was created by Copenhagen Zoo and built like a giant game of Jenga.
It now stands side by side with the traces of past mass extinctions to remind us of nature’s vulnerability and the impact we are having on the planet today.
The installation is free for everyone to experience right up until October 2026.
