As a new initiative, we now also offer an educational programme here at Stevns Klint Experience, with courses available for primary, lower secondary and upper secondary school pupils.
The lessons take place at Stevns Klint, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the traces of the fifth mass extinction mark a pivotal chapter in the Earth’s history.
Through dialogue, investigations and collaborative learning, pupils explore evolution and biodiversity and reflect on humanity’s role in nature – both past and present. We work across the natural sciences, social studies and visual arts.

Practical information
- What happens during a visit?
As a general rule, all our programmes involve outdoor activities. We therefore always recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather.
We also recommend that you arrive in good time or set aside some time afterwards if you wish to visit the exhibition. The programmes do not usually take place in the exhibition itself, but a programme with us always includes admission to the exhibition.
On arrival, you will be met by your instructor at the entrance. The instructor is responsible for facilitating the entire programme and all activities, and teachers are expected to take on the educational responsibility.
We encourage you to make sure the children have eaten and gone to the toilet beforehand, so that they are full and ready when the session begins.
If you have any special needs or requests that we should take into account, please do not hesitate to contact us. - Prices
The price is 65 kr. per pupil. Two teachers per class are admitted free of charge. Admission and any materials are included in the price.
For bookings where no school programme or guided tour is selected, a booking fee of 500 kr will be charged.
Stevns Klint Experience reserves the right to refuse school groups without a prior booking. - Preparation
Before you come to visit, please feel free to contact us if you have any practical questions or queries about the programme.
It may be a good idea to introduce the pupils to topics and subject-specific terminology relating to the programme, but this is not required.
We expect mobile phones to be left at school or set to silent in pupils’ pockets. - Public transport and parking
Stevns Klint Experience is about a 1.5-hour drive from Copenhagen.
