Partner

Stevns Klint Partners is an initiative offering all businesses, organisations, artists and associations the opportunity to become partners with the World Heritage Site.

Action, networking and development

Sustainable development

Through the World Heritage Site, we aim to foster positive and sustainable development for one another and for Stevns. The idea comes from UNESCO – it has been shown that if the local community benefits financially from the World Heritage Site, it will also be better looked after. UNESCO calls this sustainable tourism.

Many different types of partners are involved, including manufacturing companies, tourism businesses, local associations, artists and organisations such as schools, libraries and churches.

When we promote the World Heritage site – we also promote ourselves – and that is what we are working on in the partnership programme:

  • Strengthening the local economy
  • Taking the local community into account
  • Taking good care of the World Heritage site, nature and cultural history
