2. What data do we collect and for what purposes?
On the website stevnsklint.dk/com/org, we collect data for statistical and marketing purposes.
For individuals:
- Data collected: Name, telephone number, email address, postal address, title, education, and participation details (courses, events, online tickets).
- Purpose: To contact you with news and offers about courses, events, and newsletters. For members of boards/workgroups, data is also used to invite you to meetings and related activities. We may store your postal address in certain cases.
- Title and education may be stored for formal documentation of board members/advisers.
- Storage duration: As long as you participate in groups/events and up to 3 years after. Data is deleted manually or automatically at year‑end.
- Contact data is also stored in Mailchimp when you sign up for the newsletter.
For organizations, companies, institutions:
- Data collected: Organization, type/industry, contact person, email, address, telephone, and participation details.
- Purpose: To contact you with news, offers, and event materials; to fulfill UNESCO World Heritage partner requirements; send newsletters; and invite participation in meetings.
- Storage location and duration: Same as for individuals.
Data storage:
Stored on Microsoft OneDrive (accessible only by SKE staff) and in Mailchimp. Registration data for events/tickets is stored by the booking provider, Loby.
3. How do we use your data?
We use your data to inform you about world heritage work, relevant events, and ticket purchases.
Usage data is shared with social media partners, advertising, and analytics providers (e.g., Microsoft, Facebook, Mailchimp, Google GA4), who may combine it with other data they hold—refer to their own policies for details.
4. Who do we share personal data with?
We may transfer data to our business partners under data processing agreements, ensuring adequate security and deletion within a reasonable time.
Processing is primarily within the EU; if in a third country deemed unsafe by the EU, we use standard contractual clauses or equivalent legal safeguards.
5. What data is mandatory?
- For individuals: Contact person, email, telephone.
- For organizations: Company name, contact person, email, telephone, postal address.
6. How do we protect your data?
We have implemented technical and organizational measures (data processing agreements, security procedures) to prevent loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure, and to handle/report incidents that may affect data security.
7. What are your rights?
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; oppose or restrict its processing; withdraw consent at any time (without affecting past processing); object to direct marketing; receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format; and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
